1) It’s New!

We love fantasy and all of its history, but it’s old. Don’t just give into habit this year. Be adventurous. Try something different. Tell your friends or co-workers that it’s time to move on. You’ll be a hero.

2) Playoffs, we’re all included! No “new league” required

Fantasy’s playoffs are the last few games of the regular season, and then it’s over. Wait? Thought the season ends with the Super Bowl? That’s right! It does and so does The Grind. Play a game that synchronizes NFL Playoffs with your league’s playoffs. And no eliminations - every player makes it into the playoffs and has a chance to win more cool prizes.

3) Time - we could all use more of it

I sleep 50 hours a week. I work 40 hours a week along with a commute. I spend time with friends and family about 30 hours a week. Fantasy takes about 20 hours a week in or to do well. And we all need time to relax sometimes. Good thing there’s overlap! That is until your boss catches you making your player trades at work, your roommate breaks your laptop, or your wife kicks you out of the house. Bottom line, fantasy takes up way too much time without much payoff when your players have an off week. The Grind takes about 15 minutes a week. Pick the games you like, gather a little information or go with your gut…done.

4) You’re not “F’d” if you miss the draft

With fantasy your start position is completely based on luck of the draw and the picks you make. If you don’t have good fortune, then your entire season might be shot. Don’t kid yourself; your friends are happy when you miss the draft. They get the cream and you get the crap. The Grind gives each player a level playing field - no one starts with an upper hand.

5) No Conflict of Interest

We’ve all had contradictive fantasy matchups that screw us. Whether your starting quarterback is going against your defense or your receivers and running backs are taking points away from each other. If you don’t know what I talking about, GOOD - skip the fantasy league and get in on a game that doesn’t cause conflicts. All you need to do is guess which is NFL team is going to win, by how much, and how many total points you think will be scored in the game. No dichotomies to worry about.

Welcome to the new world folks.

Fantasy football has long reigned as king of online sports games. Well, it’s time to slide over a little bit and make room for The Grind. Finally, a source can end all argument amongst friends and co-workers…Who’s the Better Bettor? SportsGrind.Net introduced our recreational mock-wagering game system last year. No other game on earth is quite like it. Form leagues with people you know or jump into a public league. Compete against your peers throughout the entire season - Week 1 thru Super Bowl. Each week is a contest in itself. Overall individual winners get prizes. Each player in matched up one-on-one  against another player in the league. Everyone keeps their winnings. Head-to-head winners get a bonus. Sign up today and catch a wiff of the scent that drove people crazy last year.

Grinders,

Welcome! We’re back at better than ever. Check out the Game Rules page to find out what’s new with the game this year. If you’re a returing user, your leagues and accounts are still in tact. Log in with the same email and password from last year and you’ll be guided step by step back into your league. If you want to start over, you’ll be able to delete your account and start over. The process is simple. If you’re brand new, then sign up!!
